Sarah and her cousin Melissa opened their own business on October 15, 2007.
Sarah has had a life long association with the world of dogs. She grew up in a show family and began grooming her own show dogs at a young age. Sarah trained with several of the top handlers in the country honing her show grooming skills. She has had a very successful career showing both her own and client dogs.
She began her professional grooming career at the age of 18, working for various private and corporate grooming businesses in the community. It had long been Sarah's desire to have her own salon and be able to provide the services she feels her clients deserve.
Sarah is loved by her poodles, Shih Tzu and her cats Sabrina and Tabitha .
Melissa's exposure to the animal world began with her family's pets. She has accompanied Sarah to dog shows assisting with preparing the dogs for the show ring.
She trained as a groomer with Sarah for a year before applying to a local grooming shop. Over the next year she worked side by side with Sarah perfecting her grooming abilities. Missy shares Sarah's vision for the success of their salon.
She is a cat lover and is owned by Felix and Finn. She also has a Toy Poodle named Fiona.
Participating in continuing education that offers current advances in their field allows them to provide their clients with services that meet their high standards of excellence. Sarah and Melissa have attended several Super Styling Sessions Seminar given by Master Groomers Jay Scruggs and Sue Zeco. Sarah and Melissa attend the All American Grooming Show in Wheeling, IL every year. They have attended seminars on grooming given by top groomers and pet professionals, Chris Christensen, Eric Salas, Kristen Fulton, Chris Pawlosky, Kathleen Sepulveda and Melissa Verplank to name a few.
