About Us
Sarah and her cousin Missy opened their own business on Octpber 15, 2007. They rented and renovated (with the help of their families) a former office space. Our only regret is that we took no photos of the before to show what a change they made in this fully remodeled grooming space.
The office had worn out blue carpet, painted barn board walls, outdated wiring with poor lighting, no water source, faded ceiling tiles with incorrectly installed drop ceiling support grids and phone wiring circa Alexander Graham Bell! New laminate floor was laid, walls painted or paneled, electrical wiring completely replaced, drop in florescent lights and quad outlets installed, a new tub enclosure built and water brought into the bathing area, drop ceiling grids re-hung and painted with all new ceiling tiles and finally, up to date phone service added. All this was accomplished in three whirlwind weeks.
The girls are enjoying the new salon where they can provide their clients with services that meet their high standard of excellence.
Sarah has had a life long association with the world of dogs. She grew up in a show family and began grooming her own show dogs at a young age. Sarah trained with several of the top handlers in the country honing her show grooming skills. She has had a very successful career showing both her own and client dogs.
She began her professional grooming career 12 years ago working for various private and corporate grooming businesses in the community. It had long been Sarah's desire to have her own salon and be able to provide the services she feels her clients deserve.
Sarah is loved by her poodle, Shih Tzu and her cat Cricket.
Melissa's exposure to the animal world began with her family's pets. She has accompanied Sarah to dog shows assisting with preparing the dogs for the show ring.
She trained as a groomer with Sarah for a year before applying to a local grooming shop.
Over the next year she worked side by side with Sarah perfecting her grooming abilities. Missy shares Sarah's vision for the success of their salon.
She is a cat lover and is owned by QD and Felix.
